Shaft Load

Input of nominal load with load records to store in a load list. The load by concentrated masses should not be included in the nominal load list. See next page. Input nominal load is done with dialog box as in figure underneath:

A concentrated load is defined with forces and moments. The load action point is most often located outside the center line and is therefore located with cylindrical coordinates, the forces by transverse tangential force, transverse radial force and axial force, the moments by bending moments and torsional moments.

Input load record as shown in dialog box above. The load list is converted to a center load list with records in cartesian coordinates and forces and moment acting in the center line. Input of rotation speed and rotation direction. Check off if own weight is to be included in the load list.
